Spandees™ crazy spandex shorts and sports bras were created for my two very athletic daughters, Sam and Jordan to have something FUN and FUNKY to wear instead of just plain old boring black spandex.

In 2008, Jordan started high school at a New England boarding school. She plays three different sports and having only two pairs of spandex shorts didn't quite fit her busy schedule, especially since she could only do her laundry on weekends. The practices or games are almost every day and you definately don't want to wear sweaty spandex shorts more than once!

With other brands having such a limited color selection, off we went to the fabric store in search of something FUN, BRIGHT and DIFFERENT. We came home, created a pattern that sits just below your belly button, and has a comfortable length. We made several pair for Jordan to take back to school and her teammates were CRAZY about her new spandex shorts and all wanted them too!
